As a business leader you can contribute to the betterment of society by offering ever improving goods and services to your community. Business leaders are needed in all facets of the enterprise. The business major prepares you for leadership in areas such as production, purchasing, sales, financial and human resource management, as well as for opportunities in finance, government and non-profit organizations.
Wilson is one of the few colleges that also offers an undergraduate degree in Financial Mathematics, integrating business finance with mathematics and preparing the graduate for a career in banking, investment management, insurance, or risk management.
Our 3+1 option in accounting leads to both a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Accountancy degree in four years, though some summer coursework may be necessary.
Interested students must have a minimum GPA of 3.75―overall as well as in at least four accounting courses―by the end of their sophomore year or 3.5 by the end of their junior year.
Because of the difference in graduate and undergraduate tuition, students in the 3+1 option may be able to earn both degrees at less cost than a traditional four-year bachelor’s degree.
